Peter Zyckman's Quest (Demo)
A downloadable game for Windows
A full adventure of it's own, despite being a demo. This Windows PC game has a scrolling 2D map, but the battles are in 3D, complete with a rock-and-roll soundtrack. The demo version is a complete adventure with a plot of it's own that is independent of the main game's adventure. The demo does NOT end on any cliff-hanger or ask for any money at all for any DLC or any cheap tricks.
The game, as well as the demo, is playable with a keyboard, a keyboard plus a mouse, or a two-stick-plus-D-PAD game controller. Any of those combinations work.
The game, as well as the demo, requires DirectX and D3D version 11 support, and is intended to run on Windows 10 and Windows 11 machines with decent 3D video cards, meant for playing games. Older machines and computers with built-in cheaper graphics are not officially supported. A display of at LEAST 1920x1080 at 60Hz or higher is strongly recommended. Unpacked and installed, it can take up to about 1.5 GB of hard drive space, if all of the savegame slots are used. The game also makes heavy use of what are called "texture arrays" by 3D programmers, which are supported by modern NVIDIA and AMD video cards for over 10 years now. If your video card supports it, you don't have to do anything special or go to any driver control panel at all - The game will take care of it. Other modern video cards also support this stuff too, typically, if they are made to support games. The installer is roughly 540MB to 560MB to download. If you download the installer and burn it onto a CD or DVD, to store or share, the installer can be ran directly off of the disc.
This game does have plenty of battles for the protagonist, a 15-year old boy who lives in a future planet Earth where magic and technology both co-exist, although it doesn't have graphic violence and should be safe for children to play. It was designed from the ground-up to be kid-friendly, and as such does not contain adult language or themes in it. Bad guys, when defeated in battle, don't bleed or come apart into anything gory or graphic at all.
This demo is finished and complete, and only gets occasional bug-fixes. The main non-demo game is still under development.
Note: The game is in American English only, at least at this time. I am very sorry but I don't know any other languages.

Played the game and had a blast =) unfortunately there is a bunch of grinding in the game so I could not show off ALL the features due to recording time but definitely would make a GREAT game to play! There is an insane amount of customization in the game and can feel the effort put into it. Keep up the amazing work!
I also posted a blog on the game on my webpage and a link to your itchio page on my WIX site =) (if you load the site use a pc, mobile version does it NO justice)
